Two plants became one company
Coating Point was not created on the drawing board. The plant in Aš has been coating since 2003; the plant in Postbauer-Heng was added in 2020. Since 2021, both have worked under one name – with the same processes and the same standards. The key milestones along the way:
- 2003 February
Founded in Aš
On 19 February 2003, BeLur ARTtec s.r.o. is entered in the commercial register in Aš, right on the Czech-German border. From the outset the focus is on powder coating and wet painting – complemented by pre-treatment and assembly.
- 2003 – 2019
Building up the Aš site
In the years that follow, the business at Lipová 622/1 grows step by step: chemical pre-treatment and coating lines for small and medium-sized components, plus a wet paint shop. A core team forms, many of whom are still with us today.
- 2019 November
Coating Point Oberflächentechnik GmbH
On 21 November 2019, Coating Point Oberflächentechnik GmbH is founded (HRB 36979, Nuremberg Local Court). The plant is set up at Kago-Platz 3 in Postbauer-Heng near Nuremberg – deliberately close to customers in the metropolitan region.
- 2020 January
Start of operations in Postbauer-Heng
The German site starts operations. The focus here is on large components as well as blasting and sweep blasting. The two plants thus complement each other: small parts and wet paint in Aš, large parts and blasting technology in Postbauer-Heng.
- 2021 June
BeLur ARTtec becomes Coating Point s.r.o.
On 25 June 2021, BeLur ARTtec s.r.o. is renamed Coating Point s.r.o.; Heinz Christian Neumann takes over as Managing Director. Since then, both plants have operated under one brand – the same processes, the same quality standards, one point of contact.
- 2022
Certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
Both companies are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. What was previously everyday practice is now also verifiable: documented processes from goods receipt through pre-treatment to coating thickness measurement.
- 2025 July & August
DB Systemtechnik coating qualification
Coating Point is awarded the coating qualification of DB Systemtechnik GmbH in accordance with DBS 918 340 for interior and exterior use – for both steel and aluminium. This allows us to coat for rail vehicle construction. In May 2025, both ISO certificates were also renewed.

Two sites, one team
Around 40 employees finish components of all types and sizes at two sites. With our own fleet we run a transport service between Germany and the Czech Republic twice a week – on request right to your site.
