Whether it is simply the mechanical removal of rust, scale, mill scale or old paint, or compacting glass bead blasting for a high-quality appearance: we offer the right mechanical surface treatment, tailored to your requirements!
In classic sandblasting, the blasting medium (corundum, garnet sand, slag or steel grit) is propelled onto the workpiece at high pressure, cleaning the surface. In glass bead blasting, stainless steel or aluminium is blasted with fine glass or ceramic particles, producing a compacted, velvety surface on the workpieces.
In sweep blasting, the galvanised component is blasted with a very fine abrasive at lower pressure to roughen the zinc surface. This improves the adhesion of the subsequent coating (dry or wet) to the surface. However, it does not replace fettling to remove zinc spikes and build-ups.
